Shannon McElroy, MS, CCC-SLP

Shannon is a speech-language pathologist with 24 years of professional experience. She began her career in the school setting for eight years across Washington and Tennessee, then moved into home health services in Arizona and later Texas, providing home health care in New Braunfels and the surrounding area for over six years before joining Crossroads Therapy Clinic — where she now works alongside her sister, Renee Hill.

Shannon specializes in assessment and therapy for apraxia of speech, feeding disorders, and motor speech disorders in children with Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, and other neuromuscular conditions, as well as articulation and expressive/receptive language disorders. She holds a master's degree from the University of Alabama, is certified in orofacial myology, and is SOFFI®-trained, with additional specialized training in oral placement therapy, feeding therapy (Talk Tools Level 4), apraxia, and PROMPT.
